研究の概要

漢方薬などの和漢薬は小児、高齢者や慢性疾患罹患患者などの免疫弱者での難治性市中感染症および肺炎などの付随疾患とともにアレルギー性疾患などの西洋医学での治療のみでは著効が得られていない種々の疾患に対しその有用性が期待されている。本研究室では、このような背景と臨床知見をもとに、漢方薬などの和漢薬の感染症および重要疾病の予防?治療への高度利用を目指し、特に粘膜免疫機構制御の観点から薬効発現機序の解析や新しい概念の創薬への利用に関する以下の研究を行っている。

漢方薬などの和漢薬の感染症ならびに難治性疾患の予防および治療効果に関する薬効発現機序の解析と応用

  1. 漢方薬の薬理作用,作用機序および作用成分の総合的な解析に関する研究
    (1) 粘膜免疫機構制御の観点からの免疫低下および慢性炎症等の改善を指向した漢方薬の薬効解析
    (2) インフルエンザウイルス感染など感染症に対する漢方薬の薬効の総合的解析
    (3) 気分障害に対する漢方薬の薬効の総合的解析
  2. 和漢薬の薬効成分としての高分子糖鎖化合物(多糖)の構造と腸管免疫系を介した活性発現メカニズムの解析
  3. 和漢薬等の薬効成分情報を基にした感染防御応答や粘膜免疫機構応答の制御のための医薬および有用シーズの開発
