〔MEXT Scholarship Program (Embassy Recommendation)〕Apply for “Letter of Acceptance”
Candidates who wish to enter Kitasato University as a MEXT student should apply for the “Letter of Acceptance” from our university after passing the First Screening by Japanese diplomatic mission in your country.
To apply for the “Letter of Acceptance”, please send us following documents by email.
１．Application form for 'Letter of Acceptance' on MEXT Scholarship Program (Downloadable from here(14KB))
２．Copy of a passing Certificate of the First Screening issued by the Japanese diplomatic mission
３．Copies of the documents submitted to the Japanese diplomatic mission that were stamped by the mission.
- Application Form *attached with Photo
- Field of Study and Research Plan
- Certified grade transcript for each academic year
- Graduation certificate or degree certificate of the last university attended
- Recommendation letter from the president/dean or the adviser of the last university attended or the university currently attending
- Abstracts of theses
- Certificate of Japanese/English language proficiency (if only submitted to the diplomatic mission)
- Recommendation letter from the present employer (if only submitted to the diplomatic mission)

<Important Notes>
■Documents submitted to the Japanese diplomatic missions must be stamped, and all lettering and photographs are clear and legible.
■All documents can be sent by e-mail; however, if it is difficult for you to access the internet, we will accept the documents by postal mail.
■We do not accept your application after the deadline, August 24th, 2018 in Japan time.
■Please be aware that Kitasato University will be closed from August11th to August 19th for a summer recess, therefore we cannot process the documents and queries during that period of time.
■Please be advised that the process of your document evaluation at our university will take certain period of time.
■All documents can be sent by e-mail; however, if it is difficult for you to access the internet, we will accept the documents by postal mail.
