Undergraduate Program

Our Curriculum

Our aim is to train professionals who possess advanced scientific and cultural sophistication with a humane outlook, who can also work with medical development as well as maintaining interests in related research, and who can actively serve as practitioners of scientific nursing. Our curriculum is designed so that students can acquire theories and practices through a series of academic studies, practices, and research. In order for students to be actively involved with academic learning as soon as they enterschool, they will begin specialized courses as well as general studies. The ratio of specialized courses will increase as the students progress and are organized in a wedge-shaped manner, facilitating our students to learn nursing effectively and systematically.

Our curriculum consists of the following 4 subject groups:

First Group of Subjects

The first Group of Subjects in Nursing is designed for students to acquire the necessary scientific knowledge for nursing as well as wide-ranging subjects in the humanities, which are considered essential for being a citizen in society. We have a unique system in which students can freely and responsibly choose the courses they wish to take based on their individual preferences.

Second Group of Subjects

The second Group of Subjects provided the students with basic units of nursing. The Fundamentals of Nursing Science unites the subjects of Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pathology, and others. Students can acquire comprehensive and inter-related knowledge within these subjects, which were traditionally taught separately. Students will also learn the most up-to-date medical issues as well as the necessary foundation subjects to be able to serve as nursing specialists in a variety of fields.
Third Group of Subjects

Courses in this subject group will first provide students withfundamental theories on nursing and foundation skills. The students will then learn the theories and take seminars in related individual fields so that they can apply their knowledge and skills into practice. The subjects were organizedaiming for making the students’ learning more organic by connecting theories and practicesandthere are a large number of practical lessonsincluded within each areas of nursing study.

Fourth Group of Subjects

This group includes subjects from other specialties in other departments or thosein which the units are interchangeable or collaborated courses based on our Unit Interchange Agreement.
