Which should I choose, Kampo medicine or acupuncture/moxibustion?

Both Kampo medicine and acupuncture/moxibustion are commonly effective for a variety of illnesses. The choice of which treatment to use will therefore depend on what the patient wants. As a rough guideline, if you suffer from pain or stiffness such as lower back pain or stiff shoulders, try visiting the Department of Acupuncture and Moxibustion; if you have problems with internal organs, try the Department of Kampo Medicine first. Quite a number of patients, moreover, visit both departments at the same time.
